Our zero tolerance approach

We have a clear zero tolerance policy towards modern slavery and human trafficking. This means we will not knowingly engage with or support any organisation, contractor, or individual involved in these practices. We expect the same standard from all our suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners.

All managers are accountable for promoting this policy and ensuring that staff understand and uphold it.

Our business and supply chains

Our supply chains include waste transfer facilities, recycling partners, equipment suppliers, vehicle and fuel providers, temporary labour agencies, and various professional services. We recognise that certain areas, particularly those involving manual labour and subcontracted services, may present a higher risk of labour exploitation.

We aim to build long term relationships with reputable suppliers who share our values, and we take steps to ensure that we work only with parties who demonstrate a genuine commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with all applicable labour laws.

Where we identify potential risks or non compliance, we will seek corrective actions within a defined timeframe. If issues are not resolved, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the relationship.

We encourage all employees, workers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking within our operations or supply chains. Concerns can be raised with line managers, senior management, or via our internal whistleblowing channels.

We will not tolerate victimisation or retaliation against any individual who raises a concern in good faith, even if it is not ultimately substantiated.
